Mr. Curtis has more than 30 years of business development and management experience, having held management positions with both large, multi-national corporations as well as with privately-held companies. His business activities have focused exclusively in the medical industry since 1983. Immediately prior to assuming his current position, Mr. Curtis served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Physicians RightPath, LLC, a pathology laboratory services company. For the prior nine years, he was the Chairman, President and CEO of The Hillside Group, LLC, a provider of financial and marketing services to the elective healthcare markets. Previously, from 1983 to 1992, Mr. Curtis was the co-founder and President of MLC International, Inc., a healthcare specialist firm that provided project/equipment financing and funding for the development of medical technology companies. Mr. Curtis has published numerous articles in the medical field areas on a wide range of subjects, including market development, advertising concepts, technology financing analysis, corporate medicine and patient financing strategies. He is a frequent lecturer on these and other subjects, has served on the editorial boards of medical industry publications, and has also served on the faculty of medical industry practice management forums, including the International Society of Refractive Surgery Practice Management and VISX University. Mr. Curtis majored in philosophy at Providence College. |
