Experience:
William V. Jacobsen, Jr. is a finance and securities attorney whose practice is focused on structured finance and leveraged finance transactions.
William’s structured finance practice includes extensive experience in cash, synthetic and hybrid collateralized loan obligation transactions and collateralized debt obligation transactions as well as securitizations of a variety of financial assets. He advises commercial banks, investment banks, funds, investors, collateral managers and issuers in connection with various structured finance and securitization transactions.
In William’s leveraged finance practice, he represents agents, lenders and borrowers in syndicated secured and unsecured lending transactions, debt restructurings, workouts, letters of credit facilities, reinsurance facilities and other finance transactions.
William joined Mayer Brown and its Chicago office in 1997.
