William S. Hussey, Senior Vice President of Group Operations, manages hospitals in Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, and Tennessee. He joined CHS in June of 2001. Bill's healthcare career spans more than 20 years at the executive management level. Before joining CHS he served as President and CEO for Gulfside Medical Development. He has served as president of the Tampa Bay Division for Columbia/HCA Healthcare Corporation and as the CEO for five hospitals across the country. Bill is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, and has served on the boards of the Federation of American Hospitals and the Florida League of Hospitals. He is a graduate of Tulane University with a Master's degree in Health Services and Hospital Administration. He received his Bachelor's of Science degree from Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln, Nebraska.
