William P. Rogers, Jr. is a partner in the Firm’s Corporate Department and heads the London office. Bud’s practice encompasses the representation of both financial institution and corporate clients in a wide variety of matters, including international securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions and derivative financial products.
Bud is a regular participant on various Practicing Law Institute (PLI) panels, having chaired the programs on "Securities Offerings, Swaps and other Derivatives." He is also on the Securities Institute Advisory Committee for the PLI Annual Institute on Securities Regulation in Europe.
Bud was born in Bronxville, New York. He joined Cravath in 1979 and became a partner in 1985. From 1998-2001, he served as the Firm’s Corporate Managing Partner.
