William P. Butler is the founder of Corporex Companies, LLC, a privately held real estate operating company with assets valued at approximately $1.1 billion. He serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of all Corporex affiliates including: Corporex Companies, LLC; Commonwealth Hotels, Inc.; and Five Season Sports Clubs, LLC. Mr. Butler has been actively involved in the acquisition, development, construction, and financing of major real estate properties for over 40 years. He is founder and past- President of the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks and was named the 1996 "National Entrepreneur of the Year" by the Kuafmann Institute for Entrepreneurship sponsored by Ernst & Young, USA Today, CNN, and NASDAQ. He was also honored with the 2005 Governor's Economic Development Leadership Award presented by the Kentucky Cabinet for economic development. In addition to serving as Chairman and CEO of all Corporex companies and affiliates, he is a founding member of the Starwood Development Board of Advisors. |
