William O. Carter has been a Director since October 2006.
Mr. Carter is a member of the Audit and Compliance Committee and the Asset and Liability Committee and is Chair of the Personnel and Governance Committee.
Mr. Carter has been in the title and escrow business since August 1975 beginning with Safeco Title Insurance Company of Oregon. In 1988 he was hired as President of Stewart Title of Oregon Inc. In 1998 the company became Pacific Northwest Title of Oregon Inc. which more accurately reflects the employee and regional ownership of the company. Bill is currently a Director for the Oregon Land Title Association trustee for Jesuit High School board of trustees and a member of the Development Committee for Jesuit. He also serves on the Board of Directors for four affiliated companies that are subsidiaries of Pacific NW Title Holding Company and is a member of Portland Metro Association of Realtors and Portland Executives Association. Bill received his Bachelor of Science degree at Washington State University.
