William O. Bullock focuses on attracting and expanding life science companies within North Carolina. Bullock also serves as a liaison to the North Carolina Department of Commerce where he previously worked as the international business development manager for biotechnology. His previous employment history includes stints as the vice president for the consulting firm, BioAbility; overseeing development and marketing at Stratagene Cloning Systems in San Diego, Calif.; and handling numerous business consulting gigs for pharmaceutical and biotechnology firms. Bullock has written and presented numerous papers on biotechnology-related topics such as economic development, business models, market research and regulation. Bullock received his undergraduate degree in cell biology and biochemistry from the Univ. of Calif. at San Diego and took biochemistry graduate classes. He received an MBA from UNC-Chapel Hill. |
