William N. Tifft joined iQVP in January 2003 as a Managing Director. Prior to joining iQVP, Mr. Tifft was Chief Marketing Officer for 24/7 Real Media, he redefined 24/7 Real Media's market positioning and focus with the additional responsibility for advertising, public relations, direct marketing and sales support for all of 24/7 Real Media's operating divisions. As General Manager of 24/7 Real Media's Media and eMail divisions, he determined their strategic direction and oversaw the day-to-day operations, setting strategy for the site acquisition, packaging and pricing of network offerings for the 24/7 Network. For the 24/7 eMail division, he lead brokerage, list management and technology. Mr. Tifft came to 24/7 Real Media with extensive experience in advertising sales, marketing and finance as well as a background in journalism.
Prior to joining 24/7 Media, Mr. Tifft was director of National Sales at National Geographic where he lead his division to record-breaking sales and earlier, held various sales, marketing and finance management roles at Time Inc., including stints at Sports Illustrated, Time International and Time Inc. Corporate Marketing. Previous to that, Mr. Tifft was a magazine editor at both Signature and Esquire Magazines.
