Previously, Dr. Kelley served as Dean of the School of Medicine and CEO of the University of Pennsylvania Health System. He is a director of Merck & Co., Advanced Biosurfaces, GenVec, Inc. and a master of the American College of Rheumatology. Dr. Kelley also serves on the board of trustees of Emory University and is a member of the Institute of Medicine of the National Academy of Sciences, the American Academy of Arts & Sciences and the American Philosophical Society.
