William Zisch was designated Vice President, Planning in 2007, having previously served as Vice President, African Operations, and Group Executive, African Operations since 2003. Prior to assuming responsibility for Newmont's development projects in Africa, Mr. Zisch was Operations Director of the Minera Yanacocha operations in Peru, was Director of Business Planning for Newmont and held other technical and managerial positions for Morrison Knudsen, FMC and FMC Gold prior to joining Newmont in 1997. Mr. Zisch holds a Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and is a registered Professional Engineer. |
