Bill O’Donnell is a partner in Carmody & Torrance's Litigation Practice Group. Bill heads the firm's Personal Injury Department, which represents individuals who have suffered injury or death as a result of the negligent conduct of others. Bill represents individuals who have been injured as a result of serious motor vehicle collisions, including those caused by tractor trailers, other vehicles and highway defects. He also represents individuals who have been injured as a result of defective premises or defective products, including both household and industrial equipment.
Bill also represents health care institutions and individual health care providers in the defense of medical malpractice actions, including complex cases involving surgical, orthopedic-spinal and psychiatric claims. He provides risk management counseling to hospitals and other health care facilities.
Bill also represents employers in the defense of workers' compensation claims. He has litigated workers' compensation claims at the informal, pre-formal and formal hearing levels, as well as before the Compensation Review Board.
