William Garrett is an associate in both the firm's Corporate and Securities and Government and Regulatory Affairs Practice Groups. He is an honors graduate of St. Vincent College and received his law degree magna cum laude from the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University. He served as editor-in-chief of the law review and published a comment entitled "Acquisitions of Pennsylvania Bank Holdings Companies: Who Determines What is Best for the Community?" in 1999. During law school, he was the recipient of the President's Scholarship, the Harry E. Kalodner Memorial Award, and was a member of the Woolsack Honor Society.
William has been active in several charitable and social organizations, serving as a member on the American Red Cross International Humanitarian Aid Committee. During 2005-2006, Garrett served as a Congressional aide to U.S. Congressman Michael G. Fitzpatrick. He is also a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Committee on Legal Ethics and Professional Responsibility and the American Bar Association Section of Business Law. William is admitted to the bar in Pennsylvania. |
