William M. Corcoran is Vice President of Public and Regulatory Affairs for W. R. Grace & Co. with responsibility for environment, health and safety, communications and government affairs. He is an officer of the company.
Bill joined Grace in June 1999 from AlliedSignal Inc. (now Honeywell), where he had served as vice president of business and regulatory affairs for the company's $1.5 billion specialty chemicals business since 1997. For nine years prior to that, he served as vice president of public affairs in AlliedSignal's engineered materials sector. He joined AlliedSignal's Washington office in 1986 as director of legislative and regulatory affairs.
Following graduation from Georgetown University, Bill served in various capacities in the Congressional offices of Senator John Chafee, the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works and the House Committee on Public Works.
Grace is a leading global supplier of catalysts and other products and services to petroleum refiners; catalysts for the manufacture of plastics; silica-based engineered and specialty materials for a wide-range of industrial applications; specialty chemicals, additives and materials for commercial and residential construction; and can sealants and coatings for food packaging.
