Former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Texas Eastern Products Pipeline Company, LLC
William Thacker is former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Texas Eastern Products Pipeline Company, LLC, the general partner of TEPPCO Partners, L.P. TEPPCO owns and operates one of the largest common carrier pipeline systems for refined petroleum products and liquefied petroleum gases in the United States. The company owns and operates petrochemical and natural gas liquid pipelines and is engaged in crude oil gathering, transportation, storage, and marketing. It also owns and operates natural gas gathering systems.
Prior to his ten-year career with TEPPCO, Mr. Thacker held executive positions in his 25-year career with Unocal Corporation. Unocal produces and sells a broad array of energy resources and develops major energy projects.
Mr. Thacker was elected to Mirant's Board of Directors in 2006.
