Willy Pirtle is Vice President of Sales for Shentel. Mr. Pirtle is also responsible for Shentel’s Converged Services organization focusing on Fiber to the Home (FTTH) and Multiple Dwelling Unit (MDU) sales in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions. He joined the Company in 1992 as Vice President of Network Services responsible for Shentel’s technology decisions, and maintenance and operation of its networks telephone, cable, cellular, paging and fiber optics. He helped launch Shentel’s Internet business in 1994, and led its participation in its wireless PCS business beginning in 1995. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia.
