William L. Carr is a member of the Commercial Litigation Practice Group. He focuses his practice on Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regulatory investigations and enforcement actions. Prior to practicing law, he served as law clerk to the Honorable Joseph H. Rodriguez, U.S. District Judge for the District of New Jersey.
In General. William received his J.D. with honors from Rutgers University School of Law, and received his M.B.A. with high honors from Rutgers University School of Business. While in law school, William completed an externship with the Honorable Dolores K. Sloviter, U.S.C.J. of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and an internship with the Honorable William J. Cook, J.S.C. of the New Jersey Superior Court, Criminal Division. He was also a Dean's Scholar and received recognition for a top ten brief and honorable mention best oralist in the Hunter Moot Court Competition. In addition, he served as articles editor of the Rutgers Law Journal and was a teaching assistant in the legal research and writing/moot court program. |
