Mr. Weymark joined the Board on January 12 2007. Mr. Weymark was President and CEO of Vancouver Wharves a deep sea terminal handling bulk and break bulk cargo in the port of Vancouver. Prior to joining Vancouver Wharves in 1991 Mr. Weymark spent 14 year in the mining industry throughout western Canada working on the start up and operation of several mines. Mr. Weymark is very involved in the community having co-chaired Vancouver's 2004 United Way Campaign and worked on fund raising campaigns for Junior Achievement YMCA and the Lions Gate Hospital. He is also active with the BC Lions as a Founder of the Waterboy Association and Member of the 2005 Grey Cup Steering Committee. Currently Mr. Weymark is a Director of Vancouver Board of Trade the VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation and a Member of the Industry Advisory Committee for the Norman B. Keevil Institute of Mining Engineering at the University of British Columbia. Mr. Weymark attained a Diploma in Mining from the British Columbia Institute of Technology and a Degreee in Mining and Mineral Process Engineering from the University of British Columbia. |
