William J. Wagner was elected as President of Chicopee Savings Bank in 1984. He currently serves on the boards of several community organizations including the Eastern States Exposition Westmass Economic Development Council Westmass Area Development Corporation Center for Financial Training/Atlantic States Depositors Insurance Fund and the Savings Bank Employee Retirement Association. He is the past chairman of the board of the Holyoke Community College and past treasurer of the Sisters of Providence Health System. He is the recipient of numerous awards including the Cathedral High School Distinguished Alumni Award the Holyoke Community College Distinguished Service Award the International Rotary Club Paul Harris Fellowship Award and various non-profit humanitarian awards. Mr. Wagner received an Honorary Doctor of Law Degree from Our Lady of the Elms College in 2000. |
