Mr. Schrank is a partner with Jones, Skelton & Hochuli, P.L.C. and has been practicing law for 20 years. His practice is devoted to defending various corporations and businesses in tort litigation. His primary fields of practice include trucking accidents (defense); premise liability and security; "special event" litigation (firework displays, festivals and carnivals); and food, beverage and other product litigation (defense).
Mr. Schrank has been involved in hundreds of arbitrations and mediations, primarily as sole or lead defense counsel. He has also been sole or lead defense counsel in numerous jury trials that have gone to verdit. He has served as a court-appointed Judge Pro Tem for Maricopa County Superior Court working as a mediator to settle lawsuits. Mr. Schrank is a member of the Arizona Association of Defense Counsel, Trucking Insurance Defense Association and the State Bar of Arizona.
He is originally from Minnesota, but received his law degree from the University of Nebraska College of Law School in 1984, with distinction, and was bestowed the honor of Order of the Coif.
In addition to his law practice, Mr. Schrank is a regular guest instructor at Marco de Niza High School, has served as an officer for the Foothills Gymnastics Association and coaches youth ice hockey.
