William J. Pade joined the Varsity Group Board of Directors in 2004. He is a partner of Oak Hill Capital Management, a private equity firm with offices in New York, N.Y., and in Menlo Park, Calif. He focuses primarily on investments in the technology and telecommunications sectors.
Prior to joining Oak Hill, Mr. Pade spent 26 years at McKinsey & Company, as a Director and Managing Partner of McKinsey’s Silicon Valley Office, the center of the firm’s global High Technology Practice. Preceding his role as Director and Managing Partner, he led McKinsey’s High Technology and Telecom practices in London, U.K.
Mr. Pade holds a B.A. from Harvard College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. He is a board member of several corporations and not-for-profit organizations in Silicon Valley.
