William J. Hornof Chief Medical Officer Dr. Hornof is a world-known veterinary medical educator, lecturer and author. He received his Bachelor of Science, Master of Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees from the University of California, Davis. He was named a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Radiology in 1979 and joined the faculty of the University of California, Davis that same year. Dr. Hornof has had a distinguished academic career with over 100 peer reviewed publications in imaging and informatics. After 25 years on the faculty at UC Davis he retired as Radiology Chief of Service and Associate Director of Imaging and Hospital Computing in 2004 to join Eklin as Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Hornof has been instrumental in optimizing image processing tools for wide-spread veterinary applications, and helping to architect Eklin's PACS and EklinVault web-based services products. Bill also heads up Eklin University, the company's continuing education teaching platform, and lectures on DR and PACS benefits and applications at major meetings and seminars for larger practices, practice groups and universities.
