Will is a principal and consulting actuary with the Seattle office of Milliman. He joined the firm in 1992.
Experience
Will specializes in helping healthcare organizations understand the risks for which they have contracted by developing benchmarks and creating programs for delivering healthcare to enrollees as cost effectively as possible. He has spent considerable time assisting clients with commercial populations, Medicare risk contracts, and managed Medicaid contracts operate within a fixed, market-driven, revenue level.
He helps organizations develop provider incentives and fee schedules that encourage the efficient utilization of resources. Many clients have asked Will to create benchmarks that can be used to allocate premium dollars or for performance evaluation and surplus distribution. The results have enabled clients to prepare successful competitive bids.
