After completing his undergraduate studies at the State University of New York at Stony Brook Dr Ennis earned his medical degree at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed, and is board certified in General Surgery, Vascular Surgery and Family Medicine. He also finished an MBA program at the Keller Graduate School of management in Chicago.
Dr Ennis has been practicing wound care for 16 years and is Medical Director of the Comprehensive Wound and Disease Management Center at St. James Hospital, Olympia Fields campus, and the Sub Acute wound unit at Crestwood Care Center. Dr Ennis is Medical advisor for National Medical Solutions, specialists in wound and disease management, in Brentwood, TN. Dr. Ennis is a Clinical Professor of Surgery at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Il, as well as an adjunct faculty member at Northwestern University. Dr. Ennis is currently the president, and a founding board member for the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care (AAWC).
He has published and lectured extensively and recently created the nations first academic, physician based fellowship in wound care. |
