Mr. Breen brings over 35 years of experience in the chemical industry to National Capital. In his capacity with the firm he proactively seeks buy side engagements and is involved in execution of engagements where his expertise is needed.
Previously, Bill served as President of Custom Chemicals Corporation, a specialty chemical manufacturing business, where he recently exited from a successful management buyout. Prior to taking over Custom Chemicals, he worked for the $400MM Chemical Division of Westvaco Corporation, also a specialty chemicals business, where he was employed in a variety of positions including operations management, market management and new ventures focused on strategic acquisitions. In his capacity with Westvaco, he was also actively involved in site selection in Europe.
Bill is active in a number of industry associations including the Pine Chemicals Association, Chemical Development and Marketing Association and the SDA. He holds both a BA and a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. |
