William H. Schecter is a senior vice president and a senior advisor of National City Corporation. He is a member of the Board of Directors and Chairman Emeritus of National City Equity Partners, the division encompassing the corporation’s three venture capital subsidiaries.
Mr. Schecter began his career with National City in 1984 as a senior vice president in Corporate Banking following National City’s acquisition of BancOhio National Bank. Prior to this, he served as BancOhio’s senior vice president of Corporate Banking. He was appointed to his current position in 1989.
Mr. Schecter earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Ohio State University and is a 1975 graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Rutgers University. |
