Experience:
William Kiekhofer focuses his practice in business bankruptcy, financial restructuring, creditors rights and remedies and related litigation. He has represented Debtors in Possession, Chapter 11 Trustees, Creditors Committees, asset purchasers, non-debtor landlords and contract parties, bankruptcy court litigants, bondholders and secured and unsecured creditors. The primary focus of his practice currently is financial institutions, either as commercial lenders or as indenture trustees. He has extensive experience with all facets bankruptcy including lease and contract assumption and rejection, financing, and asset dispositions through Section 363 Sales, liquidating Chapter 11 Plans, and non bankruptcy alternatives such as receivership, foreclosure and assignment for the benefit of creditors.
