William H. Hieronymus, Vice President, has more than 25 years of experience consulting to the managements of electricity and gas companies, their counsel, regulators, and policymakers. Dr. Hieronymus specializes in the structure and regulation of network utilities and associated management, industry policy, and regulatory issues, and he has conducted an array of assignments for energy clients in the United States, Europe, and the Asia Pacific region. He has testified frequently before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, state regulatory commissions, and in federal courts on market power and related regulatory policies and market rules. He also assists energy clients in strategy matters relating to acquisitions and mergers. Prior to joining CRA, Dr. Hieronymus was a member of the Management Group at PA Consulting, having previously been an officer at Hagler Bailly, Inc., and Putnam, Hayes & Bartlett, Inc. At PHB he spent several years in London working on the restructuring of the U.K. and continental European electricity sectors. He was at CRA for five years in the 1970s, consulting principally on antitrust and energy matters. |
