William H. Dengler, Jr. serves as Hill International's Senior Vice President and General Counsel. His responsibilities include contract review and negotiation, litigation management, mergers and acquisitions, insurance and risk management, regulatory compliance, and corporate administration. Prior to joining Hill, Mr. Dengler served as Assistant Counsel to both Acting New Jersey Governor Donald DiFrancesco and Former Governor Christine Todd Whitman. As Assistant Counsel, through the Office of Chief Counsel, he was responsible for advising the Governor on policy and legal issues pertaining to various transportation, environmental, gaming and other authorities, commissions and public corporations.
In addition, he served as the Governor's liaison to the following authorities: Delaware River Port Authority, Delaware River and Bay Authority, Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission, South Jersey Transportation Planning Organization, South Jersey Port Corporation, Environment Infrastructure Trust, New Jersey Network, Urban Enterprise Zone, New Jersey Water Supply Authority, Garden State Preservation Trust and New Jersey Lottery.
Mr. Dengler earned a B.A. in Political Science from Western Maryland College and a J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law at Camden. He is licensed to practice law in New Jersey, as well as before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. |
