William H. Aversion is a member of the Litigation Practice Group in our Milwaukee office. His practice covers a broad spectrum of business litigation, ranging from contracts, securities, banking, insurance, antitrust, and unfair competition cases, to professional liability and malpractice matters. In addition, William provides general business counsel to business organizations and their owners, and helps resolve disputes among co-owners of corporations and partnerships.
Well-experienced in alternative dispute resolution techniques, William has served as an arbitrator and mediator for the American Arbitration Association, a mediator for the Milwaukee Bar Association and Wisconsin Court of Appeals Mediation Programs, and a hearing examiner for the Wisconsin Racing Board. He is a member of the AAA's National Panels of Arbitrators for commercial and construction cases.
He is a member of the American and Seventh Circuit Bar Associations, the State Bar of Wisconsin and the Milwaukee Bar Association. He was co-founder and first president of The Corporate Practice Institute, Inc.
William received his undergraduate education in political science at Princeton University and graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School.
