William Odom is an expert specializing in Computer Forensics and Electronic Discovery. William has worked on several high profile projects involved with gathering and protecting electronic evidence. William is the former Managing Director of Acquisition Data. Prior to forming Acquisition Data, William was a Manager with Deloitte & Touche in the Forensic & Investigative Services practice. Prior to joining Deloitte & Touche, William was a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation ( FBI ) where he received certification through FBI Laboratory as a Computer Forensic Examiner. In addition, he received training in general investigative techniques, computer intrusion and security, national intelligence and counterintelligence matters and defensive tactics. William is also the former Treasurer and former President of the Texas Gulf Coast Chapter of High Technology Crime Investigation Association ( HTCIA ). In 2003, William founded the International Center for Computer Forensic Accreditation, Standards and Testing ( IC2FAST ). IC2FAST was founded to address the accreditation of computer forensic laboratories. William also currently teaches graduate level computer forensic courses and computer forensic training to law enforcement at Sam Houston State University. |
