William F. Lenahan, was the Chief Executive Officer of KMC Telecom, a nationwide provider of next generation telecommunications infrastructure and service at the network edge. With over $565 million in revenue and $270 million in EBITDA in 2004, KMC Telecom was the largest privately held nationwide telecommunications company serving over 300 markets across the United States. KMC 's Data Division provide metro access and bandwidth over a nationwide VoIP platform serving wireless carriers and cable companies. Mr. Lenahan came to KMC from BellSouth Wireless Data (Cingular Wireless), where he was President and CEO, responsible for financial performance and nationwide wireless data strategy. Through his vision and execution, BellSouth earned recognition as the national leader in wireless data. He was instrumental in developing, funding and designing the popular RIM Blackberry and Palm.net services. Mr. Lenahan is a member of the board of Broadbeam Corporation, a member of the World President's Organization, and has served on the Advisory Councils of IBM, Compaq and NCRYork.
