William F. Greenwood is a Managing Director in the Leverage Finance Group. He brings extensive experience in the fixed income market on both the sell side and buy side. He is based in New York.
Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Greenwood served as First Vice President in the Global Treasury Department of Merrill Lynch where he was portfolio manager of the firm's Liquidity & Collateral Portfolios. The portfolios consisted predominately of mortgage backed securities in addition to U.S. Government and Agency debt. Prior to Merrill, Mr. Greenwood was a U.S. Government bond trader for several primary dealers, most recently at Bank of America.
Mr. Greenwood is a graduate of Fairfield University and received his M.B.A from Northeastern University.
