William E. Sullivan is chief financial officer of ProLogis, where he is responsible for worldwide corporate finance, including treasury, cash management, financial planning, financial reporting, accounting, tax, investor relations and information technology.
Prior to joining ProLogis in April of 2007, Mr. Sullivan was the founder and president of Greenwood Advisors, Inc., a financial consulting and advisory firm focused on providing strategic planning and implementation services to small and mid-cap companies.
Between 2001 and 2005, Mr. Sullivan served as chairman and CEO of SiteStuff, an online procurement company serving the real estate industry. As CEO, his supervised an effective effort to reduce costs, increase revenue and raise third round capital. He stepped out of the CEO role following successful completion of the corporate turnaround. He continues to serve as the chairman of the board.
Between 1984 and 2001, Mr. Sullivan held several positions with the real estate firm of Jones Lang LaSalle, including chief financial officer. He managed the company’s conversion from partnership to corporate form in preparation for the firm’s IPO, which he oversaw in 1997. He also served as the executive vice president - investments and technology for the firm, where he was responsible for the company’s allocation of capital, information technology and e-business activities.
Prior to Jones Lang Lasalle, Mr. Sullivan was a member of the Communications Lending Group of the First National Bank of Chicago, and he also served as a member of the tax division of Ernst & Ernst.
Mr. Sullivan earned an M.B.A. in Management and Finance from Northwestern University and a B.S.B.A. in Accounting/Marketing from Georgetown University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. |
