Corporate Responsibilities
In his role as Chief Development Officer, Bill oversees the full range of McEagle activities, from site acquisition and analysis to final project delivery. McEagle has staked out a leadership position in the development world with its emphasis on the blending of diverse new urbanist communities with business and technology and Bill is dedicated to the maintenance of this vision. He also provides the interface with local governing authorities for zoning, permit approval and utility/infrastructure issues. Through the duration of the development, he orchestrates the assembly of team personnel and consultants and directs all engineering, design and consultants' efforts to final completion.
In his previous role as Vice President of a major commercial development firm in St. Louis for more than nine years, Bill administered new construction of office and industrial building types, as well as coordinating tenant finish activities, leasing, space planning, finishes and interior construction. Throughout his career, Bill has been responsible for the development of over 3 million square feet of various building types.
One of Bill's major roles is directing the development activities at McEagle's largest project to date, WingHaven®, a 1,200-acre master planned mixed use community in O'Fallon, Missouri. Development plans include 860,000 square feet of retail, conference, hotel and service facilities. Office, service and institutional space will total approximately 2,000,000 square feet, with an additional 2,000,000 square feet of research and development space. An 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Design golf course and more than 700 home sites are currently under construction. The community is now home to Nordyne Incorporated, MasterCard International, Midwest BankCentre and Webster University. Bill also serves on the WingHaven® Commercial Architectural Review Committee. |
