William Forrest joined the Company's Board of Directors on March 2003 and became a full-time member of Cosi's Executive Management team on February 10 2004. From 2001 to the beginning of 2004 Forrest has headed the Restructuring Group at Gleacher & Co. and served as a corporate restructuring professional since 1988. In 1997 he attained the designation Certified Turnaround Professional ("CTP"). The CTP designation establishes stringent criteria for practical experience knowledge and ethical integrity for the Corporate Renewal Industry. Prior to joining Gleacher & Co. Forrest was a Managing Director at Catterton-Forrest LLC (a division of Catterton Partners) where he was responsible for the acquisition and management of portfolio companies focused exclusively on the troubled business space.
From 1997 to 1999 Forrest was a crisis manager/interim CEO for Fine Host Corporation a $330 million publicly traded food service company. There he completed the successful turnaround by negotiating a comprehensive balance sheet restructuring and utilizing a pre-negotiated Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceeding as well as by implementing a strategic integration plan of acquired companies for this 23-subsidiary operating company. Forrest received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornell University. His work has been published in the American Bankruptcy Journal and he has been a featured speaker for many organizations. |
