William Bridge, Vice-President, Western Canada Operations is responsible for all operations at TransAlta’s coal-fired, gas-fired and hydro plants and mines in Western Canada.
Prior to this role, Mr. Bridge was Vice-President, Commercial & Portfolio Management, where he was responsible for the commercial management of the company’s assets in all regions and the growth of the company through development and acquisition.
Mr. Bridge joined TransAlta in 1996 and has held various positions within the company including roles in Energy Marketing and Independent Power Development.
Prior to joining TransAlta, Mr. Bridge spent four years working with BC Hydro’s power marketing subsidiary, Powerex. Mr. Bridge has a bachelor of science in electrical engineering from the University of Victoria. |
