Mr. Bousema's 30 year career includes extensive experience of strategic planning, financial management, operations and SEC compliance at high-growth companies. Prior to joining Primal, Mr. Bousema served as Chief Financial Officer for several public and private companies, including Starwire Corporation, a Sequoia Capital venture-backed portfolio company in the hosted web content management, publishing and syndication space. Mr. Bousema has also led Sarbanes-Oxley Act Section 404 implementation teams at Dow 30 and Fortune 500 listed firms as well as a number of turnarounds. Mr. Bousema has served on the boards of five for-profit and non-profit organizations, and was an adjunct professor of finance at Vanguard University. Mr. Bousema is a Certified Public Accountant and was with KPMG and Arthur Andersen. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Dordt College. |
