William B. Hanrahan is the Chief Executive Officer of Community Counselling Service (CCS) and its international operations in Canada, the United Kingdom, and Ireland. Over the last 40 years, Bill has worked with many of the world's leading philanthropic institutions and causes in the creation of some of the most successful and innovative fund-raising programs. Bill has designed and supervised many of CCS's groundbreaking programs, including national and international campaigns that have raised more than $700 million for Rotary International and Lions Clubs International, as well as several Lutheran National Church bodies, the United Church of Canada, and the Anglican Church of Canada. He also supervised Roman Catholic diocesan campaigns that have raised approximately $1 billion, including recent and current $100 million plus programs for the Archdioceses of Boston, Philadelphia, Detroit, New York, and Atlanta. Bill is a member of the Board of Directors of the Greater Washington Society of Association Executives and Past Chair of the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy Foundation, including two terms as Vice Chairman. He has served on the Boards of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (Past Chair), the Advisory Board of Riverview Medical Center in New Jersey, the Queen of Peace Home in New York, the American Liver Foundation, and Operation Smile International. He is a frequent lecturer at seminars and international and national conferences for many groups, including the AHP, AFP, NCDC, ICSC, ALDE and ASAE. |
