William A. Young is Vice President, Chief Information Officer at Ellis Hospital. Bill is responsible for the planning, development and coordination of the hospital's information resources.
Prior to joining Ellis Hospital, Bill was Vice President of Technical Services at Commerce Hub in Albany where he managed the production systems division and was responsible for integrating all new merchant and vendor clients into the "hub" technology and delivering solutions to clients' changing requirements.
Bill also served as Vice President of Information Technology for Health Solutions Ltd, where he helped Hospitals, Healthcare Organizations and Insurance Companies develop web based, data warehousing and data analytic tools.
In addition, he worked for 16 years at Jardine Lloyd Thompson, Ltd. where he held several senior-level positions including: Chief Technology Officer of JLT Interactive, Senior V.P. & Chief Information Officer of JLT Group-North America and Senior V.P. & Director of Information Technology at JLT Services.
Bill received his B.S. in Technical Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute where he concentrated on information systems, economics and business law. Born and raised in Guilderland, Bill currently resides in Glenville with his wife and three children. |
