William A. Scott, PhD, has served as a member of our board of directors since 1997. Dr. Scott was Chief Executive Officer and a member of the board of directors of Physiome Sciences, Inc., a company that specializes in the design of computer models of human organs, from 1997 to 1999. From 1983 to 1996, Dr. Scott held numerous positions at the Bristol-Myers Squibb Research Institute, most recently as Senior Vice President of Drug Discovery from 1990 until 1996. Dr. Scott has served as an Adjunct Professor at the Rockefeller University since 1983 and as an Associate Dean and Associate Professor at Rockefeller University. In addition to AtheroGenics, Inc., Dr. Scott is director of Variagenics, Inc., Cambridge, MA and Deltagen, Inc. of Menlo Park, CA. |
