Dr. Marston is a graduate of Harvard University and the University of Virginia School of Medicine. He completed a general surgery residency and fellowship in vascular surgery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He currently is an Associate Professor at the University of North Carolina and is the medical director of the UNC Limb Salvage/Wound Healing Center. Dr. Marston's research efforts focus on the etiology and treatment of diabetic foot and venous stasis ulcers, and the treatment of critical limb ischemia to maximize limb salvage.
Dr. Marston is on the Research Committee for the American Venous Forum, the Scientific Program Committee for the Southern Association for Vascular Surgery and the editorial board for Vascular and Endovascular Surgery. He is also on the planning board for the Symposium on Advanced Wound Care and the Wound Healing: Science and Industry meetings. |
