Dr. Lee joined Gilead Sciences as Director of Pharmaceutical Product Development in 1991 and has been Senior Vice President, Research since 2000. Prior to joining Gilead, Dr. Lee was at Syntex where he co-invented the immune suppressive drug CellCept® and at California Biotechnology, Inc.
Dr. Lee received his PhD in physical organic chemistry from the University of California at San Diego and performed postdoctoral work at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne and the University of California at Santa Barbara. |
