Mr. Hasler became a director of the Company in December 1998. For seven years, Mr. Hasler was Dean of the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, and is a former vice chairman and director of KPMG LLP. In 1998, he retired as Dean Emeritus and became Co-CEO of Aphton Corporation, a public pharmaceutical company. Mr. Hasler stepped down from his position as Co-CEO of Aphton Corporation and assumed the role of Vice-Chairman of the Board. Mr. Hasler is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Solectron Corporation and a director of Aphton Corporation, Technical Olympic USA, Inc., Ditech Communications Network, Stratex Networks, Inc. and Genitope Corporation. He is a trustee of the Schwab Funds. |
