Will Ris has been American Airlines' principal government affairs executive since July 1996, and is responsible for directing all activities with Congress, the administration, and a broad range of federal agencies. He is also a member of the Executive Committee of American Airlines. Prior to joining American, Mr. Ris was the Executive Vice President of the Wexler Group, a Washington DC-based government relations firm. Will is on the boards of directors for two other organizations; The Airport Research and Development Foundation and The Green Door, Inc. Mr. Ris holds degrees from Northwestern University , Johns Hopkins University , University of Denver College of Law, and Georgetown University College of Law.. |
