Prior to founding Statesman in 1995, Will was with Beacon Management Corporation, a merchant bank with equity and mezzanine investments in middle-market businesses nationwide. At Beacon, Will was active in all facets of corporate finance activities including valuation, acquisition and financing strategy, growth plan development and sales strategies for Beacon s portfolio companies. Will s finance career also encompasses 6 years of commercial and asset based lending with Allied Bancshares/First Interstate where he focused on financing high-growth middle-market companies and companies expanding through leveraged acquisitions. He has extensive experience in structuring and negotiating complex financing transactions and while at First Interstate managed a portfolio of $125 million in asset-based loans. He is a graduate of Rice University with a BA degree in Economics and has an MBA from the University of Texas. Will is married with three children.
