Wilbert Fortson, MD received his medical degree in 1999 from the Saint Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO. He completed his obstetrical residency at Harbor-UCLA Hospital in Torrance, CA in 2003 and his fellowship training in maternal-fetal medicine in 2006 at the University of California, Irvine in Irvine, CA. Dr. Forston served as Clinical Instructor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California, Irvine from July, 2003 through June, 2006. He was the recipient of the Ronald E. McNair Research Fellowship in 1995 as well as the Howard Hughes Research Fellowship in 1994. Dr. Fortson joined the medical staff of Atlanta Maternal-Fetal Medicine in August of 2006. He is board eligible in Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a member of the Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine. |
