Weston M. Andress, President and Chief Financial Officer, has been with the Company since April 2006 and is responsible for all finance and investment matters for the company. Previously, he served as Chief Financial and Investment Officer since joining the company in April, 2004.
Prior to his tenure with Colonial Properties, Mr. Andress held the position of Managing Director of the Corporate and Investment Banking Department of Bank of America. During his 15 year tenure with the bank, Mr. Andress worked directly with several of the largest public and private real estate companies in the United States delivering investment banking services including equity placement, debt underwriting and merger and acquisition consultation. Prior to Bank of America, Mr. Andress was Vice President in the Real Estate Capital Markets Group of Salomon Brothers in New York. Mr. Andress serves on the vestry at Christ Episcopal Church in Charlotte, N.C., is a member of the Development Council at University of the South (Sewanee) and is on the Board of Directors for The Children's Scholarship Fund of Charlotte. Mr. Andress has been a frequent guest lecturer at the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Mr. Andress graduated with honors from the University of the South with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. |
