Westy Saltonstall is President and CEO of Eaton Vance Investment Counsel. He manages portfolios for individual high-net-worth clients and institutional investors. He is a member of the Firm's management committee.
Mr. Saltonstall previously served as director of Scudder Private Investment Counsel’s Boston office where he had been affiliated since 1982. Along with prior experience in the fields of life insurance and estate planning combined with seven years in the personal trust department of a Boston bank Westy brought a diversity of financial expertise to Eaton Vance. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation a B.A. from Williams College and is a Marine Corps veteran.
He is involved in many industry and community organizations including the Investment Counsel Association of America and the Boston Society of Security Analysts. He is also on the Board of Overseers of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston Immediate Past Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the U.S.S. Constitution Museum and a Trustee of Newton Cemetery. |
