Wesley Gass was appointed to the position of Vice President of Operations and Supply Chain during 2006. In this newly created position, Wesley oversees CPI's company-wide operations, supply chain, manufacturing processes and Customer Service Teams. Wesley directs all material procurement, inventory control, logistical programs and plays a significant role in CPI's international expansion through attainment of operational and supply chain goals. In addition, Wesley has relocated to Texas to oversee CPI's Georgetown, Texas facility. Prior to becoming Vice President of Operations & Supply Chain, Wesley served as CPI's Vice President of Operations. In this position he was responsible for order fulfillment and making sure that CPI delivered product solutions addressing the needs and values of our customer. Wesley's leadership abilities have helped CPI transition toward a company-wide process-based organization and away from a facility-centric model. In 2000, Wesley joined CPI when he was named General Manager of CPI's operating unit in Redding, Calif. In May 2002, he also assumed General Management duties for the company's Chatsworth, Calif., operations. Prior to CPI, Wesley was the Director of Manufacturing for Citiplate, Inc., a privately-owned manufacturer of offset printing plates for the commercial printing industry where he oversaw innovations and new employee programs that maximized company efficiency. From 1982 until 1997, Wesley enjoyed a long and progressive career at Western Lithotech where he held several key positions, culminating in Senior Vice President of Manufacturing. In this position, he oversaw total operations for three profit centers in Texas and Missouri and spearheaded programs that significantly increased manufacturing capacity. Wesley received a Master of Science degree and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Texas A&M University. |
