Wesley S. Chused’s practice encompasses commercial and business litigation matters in general and transportation law and litigation in particular. His clients include many of the country’s leading motor carriers, van lines, airlines, steamship companies and insurance companies in litigation contracts, coverage opinions and related issues. Wes’ extensive experience has earned him a reputation as one of the country’s leading attorneys in the field of transportation, an industry that is subject to several special laws, regulations and requirements. Wes is the chairperson of the Looney & Grossman Transportation Practice Group and is a member of the Management Committee.Wes was born in Chicago, Illinois. He graduated from Clark University (B.A. 1970) and Suffolk University Law School (J.D. 1973). He was admitted to the bar in Massachusetts in 1973 and is also admitted to practice in the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.Wes has served as a faculty member of the Transportation Law Institute and is an active member of the Transportation Lawyers Association, the Canadian Transport Lawyers Association, the Conference of Freight Counsel, and the Massachusetts and Boston Bar Associations. He has also authored and presented papers on a variety of transportation law topics for bar associations and trade organizations. |
